Our Ingredients & Suppliers

At Larder, we believe that good food starts with great ingredients — sourced with care, cooked from scratch, and frozen to lock in nourishment.

We work with trusted suppliers who share our values around sustainability, animal welfare, and soil health. From responsibly caught fish to rare breed meats and British-grown vegetables, everything in your meal has been thoughtfully chosen.

We only order what we need, compost all our peelings and scraps, and deliver locally by bike.

Ingredients

Meat from Rare Breeds

We source our meat from Rare Breeds Meat Company, a family-run business dedicated to preserving rare and traditional British breeds. Their animals are raised free-range, fed only natural foods, and treated with care — no shortcuts, no industrial farming.

Sustainable Fish Choices

We make conscious decisions when choosing seafood, selecting fish with healthy stock levels and responsible harvesting practices. That’s why our Fish Pie uses haddock, hake, or coley instead of cod — better for your plate, better for the sea.

British-Grown Fruit & Veg

We aim to use British-grown fruit and vegetables wherever possible, sourcing from regenerative farms when we can. This means fewer food miles and better soil health — and we make sure nothing goes to waste in our kitchen.

Beans, Pulses & Grains from Hodmedod’s

We’re proud to buy from Hodmedod’s, who champion British-grown beans, lentils and pulses. These traditional crops are naturally nutritious, great for the soil, and a brilliant way to boost the health of every meal.

Wildfarmed Flour

When we use flour, we use Wildfarmed — made from wheat grown using regenerative methods that protect biodiversity, nourish the soil, and support British farmers. It’s better for the planet and for your body.
